OCHRE

Every year, I choose a personal “color of the year” rather than stick to the PANTONE color of the year, which for 2025 was this ugly brown tone anyway. I want something that reflects my personal hopes and wishes for the year, and even though 2025 ended up being exceedingly rough for me, I went with a cheery ochre yellow. To me, ochre yellow conveyed a youthful sense of joy, freedom of expression, and playfulness. When I imagined myself dressed in the color, I saw a more outgoing version of myself taking life by the reigns.
